One can enjoy an excellent panoramic view of Jugal mountain range including Langtang, Ganesh and as far towards Mt.Everest in the far east and Manaslu, Annapurna towards far west.
Trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot takes about six hours. Our walk continues through the forest and along the ridge; with spectacular views of the Himalayas, the trail leads through interesting rural farm villages. After reaching Nagarkot, our efforts will be rewarded with spectacular views of the surrounding landscapes and the snow capped mountain range. Nagarkot is another spot renown for seeing the sunrise over the Himalayas.
We wake up early and savor the magnificent sunrise over the Himalayas. After some great photo opportunities of this fantastic area, we take breakfast at the hotel and drive to Dhulikhel. Dhulikhel is a small and beautiful hill town which is almost dominated by newari culture, art and tradition. Today it is an ideal place for visitors to enjoy natural environment, the local lifestyle, old Newari culture and the spectacular views of the Himalayas.
After breakfast at Dhulikhel, we walk to Namo Buddha (1982m), situated on hill above Panauti. It takes about three hours to reach from Dhulikhel. Namo Buddha is an important Buddhist pilgrimage site of Nepal, and one of the three main stupas of the Kathmandu valley. There is a very old temple in the village of Namo Buddha, located below Thrangu Rinpoche’s land, which sits on the top of the mountain. Later, we walk another three hours and reach the enchanting Balthali village offering excellent mountain views at an altitude of 1,730m.
