Tour Plan
Arrive in Kathmandu at any time. Our airport representative will welcome you and explain the program further. There are no planned activities for the day, so you will check into the hotel. Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.
In the morning you will have breakfast at around 8:00AM. We conduct a meeting in a hotel and introduce you with our tour and trek guide or a leader. We will make the environment to introduce with each other and if there is any queries to clear. Make sure to bring Travel insurance, passport and passport size photos and if you are late arrived please do inform us as soon as possible. After meeting our expert tour guide will help you to visit the cultural and heritages sites like Boudhanath stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Soyambhunath Temple, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Narayanhiti Palace etc. which is located near Kathmandu valley.
Late evening we will provide you a Tibet travelling permit and Visa. Overnight at Hotel.
You will have flight from Tribhuwan International airport which will be the most interesting journey while on flight. Highest mountains Everest views, forest, rivers, lakes and peeks are seen. Having a 4 hours of flight you will reach on Lhasa airport. Then, from there you will go to Hotel by bus and have a rest there. Overnight at hotel in Lhasa.
You will begin your journey of sightseeing after having a breakfast in a morning. The sightseeing that you visit on this day is Potala Palace, Norbulingka Palace and Tibet Traditional Hospital.
Potala Palace is the most interesting place to visit with the amazing view of entire private quarter’s palace of a Dalai Lama.
Norbulingka Palace is a summer palace of Dalai Lama which is also known as the largest man made garden in Lhasa Tibet.
Tibet Traditional Hospital which is most popular for treatment, training and research. You can click the photos of all the view of places in your camera. Overnight in a Hotel.
On this day you drive towards to visit Ganden Monastery which is on the Wangbur Mountain. It is the oldest and one of the ‘great three’ of the six Gelug Sect monasteries in Tibet. Then, you drive to Drayerpa Cave which is situated in a landscape in which more than 30 caves are made for Lamas who wish to meditate in a silent environment. Come back to Lhasa and overnight at Hotel.
You will start your journey of sightseeing after having a breakfast in a morning. The sightseeing that you visit on this day is Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar.
Drepung monastery which is the highest and more historical building and is also the important monasteries in Tibet Buddhism. Drepung Monasteries was built in 14th century and then more the 10,000 monks once lived.
Sera Monastery is one of the famous monasteries along with Drepung Monasteries and Ganden Monasteries. It is founded by Tsong Khapa. Its main buildings are the Coqen Hall, Zhacang (college) and Kamcun (dormitory). You can see gold powder, fine statues, scent cloth and unparalleled murals in these halls.
Barkhor Bazaar is the famous place of Lhasa where you can found the best local resources of Lhasa. You will find Buddha statues having a different posture, handicrafts, costumes, jewelry, and museum, pillars, and banners etc.at evening time. Overnight at Hotel.
Our tour in the beautiful Lhasa City comes to an end today. You will fly to Kathmandu from Lhasa Tibet and after reaching take rest.
Farewell
On 7th day you will have a farewell program for the successful journey of Lhasa Tour. Overnight at Hotel
